My first 'Woods' experience and it exceeded expectations. Fond memories to treasure over the winter months. T and N really made my stay on the Isles of Scilly so enjoyable. T's friendly personality, organisational skills and 'insider information' was just superb.

I returned yesterday from the above holiday and would like to congratulate everyone concerned for making this trip so wonderful. The entire package was managed brilliantly and would like to offer my particular thanks formerly to T, who really is the most special courier, I don't think many of us made her job too arduous!!!!
I really appreciate the professionalism of your company and sincerely hope to travel with you again in the future, fingers crossed that Covid will relinquish it's grip on the world and we can all get back to normal, we're doing our best aren't we!!!

I have just returned from Scilly and want you to know what a wonderful holiday I had. Weather does not bother me when I go to Scilly, I just love being there. The Atlantic hotel is lovely, accommodation good and wonderful meals, in fact too much to eat!
I also went to Snowdonia in September and despite changes to the itinerary, I fully enjoyed my holiday. I love the Atlantic and Celtic Royal hotels. They have so much character, lovely rooms and amazing food.
I am really writing to thank you for taking me to the places I love since my husband died in 2016. I can only imagine what you are going through as a company in these hard and difficult times and I feel for you.

I have just returned from the Isles of Scilly which is a very special place for me. Your courier, T, does a wonderful job on this holiday. We were delayed coming back, but she calmly sorted it out and got us home safely. The same goes for P, the driver, who drove us back through the night. He is always helpful, happy and friendly.

Just had to write and let you know how much we enjoyed our recent 'Springtime in Guernsey' holiday with Woods. Everything was well organised with no delays under our courier, T's, watchful eye. She was most helpful and If things needed a little tweak she saw to it. Weather could have been a little warmer but I don’t think we can blame Woods for that.
Looking forward to our next trip in November.

Just wanted to say many thanks to our driver, C, for going over and above his duties on our trip to the Isles of Scilly. Our plane was delayed due to technical issues and he took us to and from the Premier Inn to catch our flight the following morning. He was brilliant and his customer service was excellent with all the difficulties that put in front of us.
T was also an excellent courier from start to finish. Ensuring breakfast was ready for us at the hotel despite our late arrival, and then took us on a personalised walking tour.

Having now come back down to earth after my trip to The Isles of Scilly last week I just wanted to thank you all for making it a fab experience for me and the group. Having never done a trip like this before, I have to say that it far exceeded my expectations and won’t hesitate travelling with Woods Travel again.
Everything was conducted in a professional, relaxed and light-hearted manner, even the minor hiccups along the way! I am considering booking on the 2020 trip to Guernsey.

Thank you to T and your driver, J, for such a lovely holiday to the Isles of Scilly. It was my first trip on my own since my husband passed away. So it was an all round adventure, and a little daunting, but I loved the whole experience and I felt safe and cared for. I also met some really lovely funny people (in a fun way)!

We arrived home yesterday after a superb river cruise and cannot thank Woods enough for their help in all the arrangements. We had a phone call the afternoon before we left from our tour leader to introduce herself and to confirm "pick up" arrangements the following morning, which immediately put our minds at rest.
Our driver arrived bang on time and we met up with the Bognor coach on the M25 so all arrived at T5 together. What a great crowd they all were. T went above and beyond her tour leaders job - she was fantastic and looked after us all so well. Making sure every day we were all ok -that we all got through checking in luggage, passport control and gathered us all together at Munich airport while she sorted out our coach to the ship and did exactly the same on the way home.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Jersey.
We have been on this holiday before, but I think this time was even better
The trips out were very good and well planned it was very nice to just sit back and enjoy.
The hotel was very good with excellent food and we upgraded to a harbour view room for the last 4 nights.The view from this room was amazing on to the harbour.
My wife and I are celebrating our golden wedding anniversary in a few weeks, and we were surprised when we returned to our room to find a bottle of champagne and a card from the hotel staff.
The person that makes this holiday is T she is a lovely person and nothing is too much trouble for her she has the perfect balance of being helpful but not taking over. When we arrived at Jersey one of our passengers left her case in the airport building, T had to recover this case and said sorry to the rest of us for the delay.We had a disabled lady on our trip who needed extra help at times T was always there when needed.

We would just like to send you a note to say how much we enjoyed our holiday to the 'Abbey' and can honestly say we could not fault the hotel in any way including the accommodation, food and the conduct of the staff.
We have been on many Woods tours and this one rates highly due to our driver T, who went out of his way to ensure everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for him.

I felt I must write and say how much I enjoyed my recent trip to the Scilly Isles. Not only did things go very much as planned, the weather was fine (not that you could do much about that!) and T, our courier, was efficient and a delightful person. For me though, recently widowed, it was the people on the trip who really set the seal on a wonderful holiday. Our improvised gatherings after dinner were most enjoyable and, at times, quite hilarious.

I have just returned from Turkey & Tinsel at Cricket St. Thomas. Having been there several times now we knew what to expect, and were not disappointed!
We enjoyed our time in Sidmouth where the weather was exceptionally kind to us. R was a good driver and courier.
We wanted to let you know that we had a good holiday, the taxi company were punctual and provided very comfortable cars, large enough for us plus luggage.
We are already looking forward to our Christmas break at Orton Hall Hotel, a new venue to us, although it has been a firm favourite with Woods for several years! MR of Bognor Regis
My wife P and I just cannot let our recent trip to Jersey pass without comment as it was a splended trip - not without hiccoughs - but these were handled and dealt with efficiently.
For this our appreciation must go almost unreservedly to our lovely Courier, T, who was superb and acted i feel sure well above her normal recognised duties as Courier. In the coach on the outward journey she commented on the usual pleasantries and claimed that by the end of the holiday we would be feel we had been on a family outing, and you know, she was right!
In short, we had another great holiday with Woods and are looking forward to our next two trips with you later in the year and hoping that we might have T again. We have even pencilled in your 2017 trip to Guernsey which she is due to take, even though we have been there several times.

'My husband and I have just returned from a holiday in Jersey with your company. This is my first journey with Woods 'offshore' (we have made quite a few holidays in Great Britain)
We were extremely impressed by the professionalism of our courier, T. Despite our party being in two seperate hotels, she was always available to sort out any problems.

I am very impressed by the efficient taxi service and admired the Way T and T, the driver and courier, efficiently and calmly dealt with the problem of our late arrival at Land's End Airport (due to exceptionally heavy traffic.) I understand the airport and St. Mary's stayed open to accommodate us at your expense.
I must also commend the staff at the Atlantic Hotel as well as local guide 'Chas' who was very informative and a good walking companion.

The ship was comfortable,the staff, first rate & the food too good! The only downside to any holiday in Norway is of course their prices ,however the tea/coffee deal that was available on board was a very good innovation.
Our tour manager, K, was first class. She was well organised, informative, very friendly & helpful to everyone. Bergen & Heathrow airports were a bit fraught but that was their fault .

'We arrived at Porto airport just before 9am on Sunday 9th May to find all flights had been cancelled due to the volcanic ash cloud. What was one to do about getting home from there? We were fortunately travelling with Woods Travel. By 11.30am we were told that transport was on its way to take us to a beach hotel where lunch, dinner, B & B had been booked at a four star hotel (that provided five star services & food). From there (leaving at 4.30am on Monday), we were booked to be taken by coach, to Santander & booked in cabins for the ferry crossing to arrive in Portsmouth at 5.00pm Tuesday 11th May.
For these arrangements to be organised so quickly we have to thank Roger Elsmere, Managing Director of Woods Travel (who was travelling with us). Not only had he arranged a 5-star cruise on the river Douro, his prompt and professional action gave us confidence that all would be well as we settled down to sleep in readiness for the 4.30am start.
A sudden phone call to our rooms told us we had 20 minutes to get dressed, packed and report to reception, as a coach was picking us up to take us to the airport as the skies were clear! We arrived at Gatwick at 2.15am where our coach had been re-scheduled and all the return taxis to take us to our final destinations. We can't thank Roger and his staff back in Bognor enough for the extra effort they put in to ensure we all enjoyed our unforgettable holiday on the river Douro.
