The Romsey Heritage and Visitor Centre, which combines the King John’s House and Tudor Cottage with a former Victorian gun shop, makes for an enjoyable visit. The 13th Century King John's House was once the centre of a medieval complex and visitors can see features such as the roof timbers, graffiti cut into the medieval plaster and a rare bone floor.
