We return once again to the wonderful Royal York and Faulkner for this weekend festive break. Relax in this beautiful, unspoilt regency town overlooking the waters of Lyme Bay and in the evenings enjoy Christmas entertainment, dancing and festive fare.
Day 1 Christmas Eve: After a morning taxi pick up, we make our way west, stopping in Bournemouth for lunch, and arriving at our hotel in the afternoon. Enjoy a glass of sherry before this evening’s Christmas Eve Dinner, which is followed by carol singing performed by a local choir.
Day 2 Christmas Day: This morning we enjoy a return journey on the Seaton Tramway, through the glorious Axe Valley and two nature reserves, taking time in Colyton to enjoy an included tea and cake stop before the return journey. Then we have a free afternoon or join your driver on a visit to the famous Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. This evening we celebrate Christmas Day with a traditional Christmas dinner followed by music and dancing in the Faulkner Bar.
Day 3 Boxing Day: A full day tour sightseeing through Dartmoor, including Widecombe in the Moor and Princetown. There will be a candlelit Boxing Day Dinner tonight followed by a seasonal quiz.
Day 4 Departing after breakfast we travel along the coast stopping at Golden Acres for our lunch and shopping. We return you to your homes, via your taxis in the afternoon.
