Set in 11 acres of landscaped grounds with its own ornamental lake, this hotel offers the Laurels Restaurant, 2 bars and a light and airy garden lounge and conservatory. All rooms have satellite TV, telephone, minibar, hairdryer, ironing facilities, safe and hospitality tray. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool, fitness centre, sauna, solarium, steam room, Jacuzzi and beauty salon. There is no lift but many ground floor rooms are available.
ITINERARY
Day 1 We travel to Peterborough where there will be a welcome drink before dinner for a chance to meet your fellow guests.
Day 2 Thursford Spectacular!
Day 3 Day 3: Today we take a scenic drive out across the Fens stopping in Ely with free time for shopping, lunch and maybe a visit the Cathedral. On to Thetford, for a walking tour of the ‘Dad’s Army Trail’ and a visit to the museum. We finish with tea/coffee at the Bell Hotel before returning to our hotel.
Day 4 We return home via St Albans.
