This tour combines the imposing scenery of North Wales with the timeless appeal of the coast, in particular Llandudno, with the beauty of the Snowdonia National Park. We tour from the outskirts of the friendly market town of Mold, where you can be sure of a typical Welsh welcome.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Once all the taxis have met the coach, we make our way north, stopping in WARWICK for a lunchtime break. We then continue through SHROPSHIRE and into WALES and our hotel in MOLD. A welcome drink will be served before dinner for a chance to meet your fellow guests.

Day 2 A full day excursion along the North Wales coast to LLANDUDNO, a town of Victorian and Edwardian elegance, with a wonderful promenade. After some free time here we take the scenic route back through the DEE VALLEY with a stop at the EWEPHORIA SHEEPDOG CENTRE.

Day 3 A full day visit to PORT SUNLIGHT in THE WIRREL. Originally built by the local philanthropist Lord Leverhulme as homes for his soap factory workforce, Port Sunlight is a conservation area with over 900 listed buildings and landscape gardens. We have a visit to the museum, followed by a guided tour by coach and free time for lunch and perhaps to visit the LADY LEVER ART GALLERY.

Day 4 This morning we travel via the HORSESHOE PASS to LLANGOLLEN and BALA. On through SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK to PORTMADOG. After a break for lunch we travel through the mountains to BETWS-Y-COED before returning to our hotel.

Day 5 We say goodbye to Wales and travel south, stopping in EVESHAM for lunch, before meeting our taxis and making our way home.
