A wonderful chance to enjoy the delights of one of the most stylish seaside resorts in Britain from the three-star Livermead House Hotel. The town’s elegant Victorian terraces, white villas and famous seven hills provide the perfect base to tour the area.

ITINERARY

Day 1 We make our way to Dorchester for a break for lunch before continuing into Devon and our hotel. This evening there will be a welcome drink before dinner for a chance to meet your fellow guests.

Day 2 A free day to enjoy this wonderfully elegant resort.

Day 3 Today we have a circular cruise from Topsham to Exmouth on the River Exe. We then return via Exeter for free time to explore the town and maybe visit the cathedral. (The order of this day may be reversed depending on tides).

Day 4 A day exploring Dartmoor including a visit to Buckfast Abbey

Day 5 After a leisurely morning in Torquay we travel to The House of Marbles, where you can explore the old pottery buildings with their listed kilns, be entertained by the collection of marble runs and enjoy the museums of glass, games, marbles and Bovey Pottery.

Day 6 We leave our hotel after breakfast and return home, making suitable stops along the way. We arrive in the local area late afternoon.
