Hampshire Court Hotel
Situated just outside Basingstoke, the four-star Hampshire Court belongs to the excellent Q group of hotels. It has an excellent range of leisure facilities including indoor pool, gym and tennis courts. All en suite bedrooms are equipped with TV, telephone, hairdryer, ironing facilities or trouser press and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Christmas Eve; Leaving the local area with our Door to Door service early afternoon, we travel to our hotel and enjoy afternoon tea and mince pies. There will be a drinks reception with carol singers before this evenings dinner. Should you choose to attend Midnight Mass, details will be available at reception.
Day 2 Christmas Day; Happy Christmas! The morning is free to enjoy the leisure facilities or take coffee in the Brasserie. Then join your fellow guests for a drinks reception before your traditional Christmas lunch. Tea, coffee and Christmas cake will be available and of course the Queen’s speech. This evening’s buffet dinner will be followed by a festive quiz.
Day 3 Boxing Day; This morning there will be a mystery drive. Lunch is taken back at the hotel before Bingo in the afternoon. Dinner is followed by musical entertainment.
Day 4 Mid morning we travel into Winchester for a look around the sales or to take a stroll through the pretty town with free time for lunch. In the afternoon we join the ‘Christmas Leave Special’ aboard the Watercress Line. By steam train, we experience the sights and sounds of a WWII Christmas with civilian and military re-enactors and vehicles. Dinner tonight is followed by live entertainment
Day 5 After a leisurely breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way back to our taxis, arriving home in time for a late lunch.
