ITINERARY

Day 1 Christmas Eve; After a taxi pick up from your door, we make our way north stopping at Saffron Walden for lunch and sightseeing. We continue to our hotel where this evening there will be a Christmas drink in the conservatory before dinner. All Souls Church is in the grounds of the hotel and is perfect for attending Midnight Mass.

Day 2 Christmas Day; Happy Christmas! A morning visit by Santa is followed by a Champagne Reception and traditional Christmas lunch. In the afternoon there will be entertainment in the Drawing Room, and in the evening a delicious buffet.

Day 3 Boxing Day; A morning excursion to the beautiful Lincolnshire limestone buildings of the conservation town of Stamford. We return via Rutland Water to mulled wine and a buffet luncheon at the hotel. In the afternoon there is entertainment in the Great Room before the Boxing Day Dinner Dance.

Day 4 Today we travel to the cathedral town of Ely where you could visit the Museum of Stained Glass, tour the spectacular cathedral or simply enjoy the town. Alternatively your driver could take you to Peterborough.

Day 5 We leave our hotel this morning for a leisurely drive back to the south making suitable stops for refreshments and arriving late afternoon.
