Wroxton House Hotel

Situated in the picturesque thatched village of Wroxton just 5 minutes from historic Banbury, this former manor house dating back to 1654 with its adjoining thatched cottages, offers a truly warm welcome. The entrance through to the reception area and ground floor bedrooms (8) in the modern wing will pose no problems for most guests with any impairment. However the restaurant and bar are located down four steps and the entrance to the Inglenook restaurant is narrow with a further step. Please request either Character rooms which are in keeping with the hotel some of which are accessable by two flights of stairs, New wing on ground floor accessable by a few stairs, well furnished and modern or cottage rooms 15 yards from the main hotel again accessable by a few stairs.
ITINERARY
Day 1 We depart the local area this morning and make our way to BICESTER SHOPPING VILLAGE for a late lunch before arriving at the hotel in time for afternoon tea and homemade cookies and an introduction of the hotel staff and management. This evening there will Carol singing prior to dinner. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass hot chocolate and cookies await your return.
Day 2 Happy Christmas. After a hearty breakfast why not join in the treasure hunt around Wroxton Village. There will be a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings before sitting down to watch the Queens speech. Quiz sheets and games will be available this afternoon for anyone wishing to play. This evening a hot and cold buffet will be served in the restaurant.
Day 3 A leisurely morning before a light buffet lunch. There will be Bingo this afternoon for those wishing to join in. After this evening’s dinner there will be live musical entertainment to be enjoyed in the lounge.
Day 4 Today we rejoin our coach for a leisurely drive through the beautiful COTSWOLDS. Returning to our hotel with time to relax before this evening’s dinner.
Day 5 After a leisurely breakfast we bid a fond farewell to our hotel before returning you to your homes mid afternoon.
