Warners Cricket St. Thomas
The regency style elegant mansion of Cricket St. Thomas is set within glorious landscaped gardens, and was the original setting for the series ‘To the Manor Born’. Ambassador rooms, located in the new wing, are spacious and comfortable with TV, telephone, hairdryer, ironing facilities and hospitality tray. Facilities include tennis, croquet, boules, cycle hire, air rifle shooting, indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam rooms. The hotel has a lift.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Christmas Eve; After our morning taxi pick up, we make our way via Salisbury to Chard and our hotel where we are greeted mid afternoon with mulled wine and mince pies. After dinner, an evening show.
Day 2 Christmas Day; A half-day excursion to Street for the Clarks Shopping Outlet. There is a full programme of activities at our hotel, followed by Christmas Dinner and the Christmas Cabaret.
Day 3 Boxing Day; A scenic tour to discover the beautiful South Devon coast visiting Beer and Seaton. Fun and games again at our hotel with a casino and comedy night after dinner.
Day 4 New Years Eve; A free morning to take advantage of the many activities available at our hotel, or join your driver on a trip to the seaside town of Sidmouth. There will be afternoon entertainment followed by Hogmanay Celebrations, including a traditional piper, and a New Year Party and Firework display.
Day 5 Leaving Chard, we travel to Bournemouth for shopping and time for lunch. We then make our way along the coast, to our taxis and home.
