Warners Bembridge Coast Hotel
This first rate modern hotel is set in 23 acres of grounds on the secluded eastern shore of the Isle of Wight, and has beautifully landscaped Spanish gardens and marvellous sea views. Our Ambassador Rooms, situated in various buildings in the complex, are equipped with TV, radio, telephone, hairdryer, ironing facilities and hospitality tray. Leisure facilities include indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, fitness studio, indoor bowls, outdoor bowls green, games room, croquet, tennis and boules courts. We also enjoy a daily programme of events and live nightly entertainment.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Having met all of our taxis, our coach travels through the New Forest down to Lymington for the sailing to Yarmouth. Once on the island we head for the east coast and our hotel.
Day 2 Free time this morning to enjoy the many facilities at your resort or have your dancing tuition. This afternoon we take a tour around the western part of the island, taking in the picture postcard village of Godshill, Brighstone, Freshwater and The Needles.
Day 3 A morning visit to Osborne House and Gardens. Queen Victoria, after Albert’s death, spent a great deal of time at this wonderful home, and since her death little has been changed there, with many of the royal couple’s possessions, photographs and paintings still in place. We return to the hotel mid afternoon.
Day 4 A morning of relaxation or dancing. This afternoon we take a scenic drive along the south east coast visiting Ventnor and Shanklin.
Day 5 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we make our way to ‘Waltzing Waters’, a spectacular show which incorporates light, music and fountains. We travel on to Fishbourne for our afternoon ferry to Portsmouth, returning to our homes early evening.
