ITINERARY

Day 1 After your taxi pick up, we make our way west and visit Athelhampton House to enjoy the house and gardens with time for lunch. We continue through Somerset and onto Devon, Torquay and our hotel.

Day 2 Today we drive to Totnes to board our boat for a cruise along the lovely River Dart. We disembark at the picturesque estuary town of Dartmouth with free time to explore. Our coach then takes us along the coast to Salcombe before returning to our hotel. (Day may be reversed depending on tides).

Day 3 We travel onto Dartmoor today and make our way over to Yelverton. At Garden House you can enjoy the Walled Garden built around medieval ruins, the exotic South African Garden and the Wild Flower Meadow.

Day 4 A free day to enjoy the delights of Torquay.

Day 5 A coastal drive today takes us to Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, with time to explore nearly 300 years of horticultural history. Visit the 18th Century Italian Garden, the 19th Century Palm House, and travel through the superbly landscaped parkland on Britain’s only 18-inch gauge passenger-carrying railway.

Day 6 We depart after breakfast and travel home via Abbotsbury with time for lunch and to enjoy the gardens. We then make our way to the taxis and home.
