The Abbey Hotel
Our four-star-standard imposing ivy-clad hotel is located in the heart of Great Malvern adjoining the fine Benedictine Priory, and has spectacular views over the scenic Vale of Evesham and the beautiful Malvern Hills. All rooms are en suite and have TV, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Picking you up from your door, we travel via the Cotswolds, making suitable refreshment stops before arriving at our hotel. After an evening cocktail reception, we are serenaded by a harpist during dinner in the Priory View Restaurant. This is followed by a festive quiz.
Day 2 Christmas Eve; A morning drive over the Malvern Hills to the ancient town of Ledbury, with its 17th Century Market House and historic parish church. We enjoy a buffet lunch at the hotel before entertainment and games in the afternoon. Local carollers join us before dinner and for those who celebrate Midnight Mass in the Priory, cheese and port await on your return.
Day 3 Christmas Day; Happy Christmas! A champagne breakfast begins your day followed by a free morning to prepare for the traditional Christmas lunch. Enjoy Christmas cake with the Queen’s speech in the afternoon or take a stroll in town. This evening dinner is followed by a Christmas film.
Day 4 Boxing Day; A morning mystery drive is followed by a buffet lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon there will be a chance to visit the pantomime (details and prices sent when available). This evening’s dinner is followed by live music and dancing.
Day 5 We depart after breakfast and make our way back home with suitable refreshment stops along the way. We arrive home late afternoon.
