ITINERARY

Day 1 After your door to door taxi transfer, we travel to Tenby via Swindon and Newport, making suitable refreshment stops along the way. We arrive at our hotel late afternoon.

Day 2 This morning we take a drive along Carmarthen Bay, visiting Laugharne which was home to Wales’ most famous poet and writer Dylan Thomas. We then continue to Pendine Sands, where Malcolm Campbell and J.G. Parry-Thomas set the world land speed record five times between 1924 and 1927. Our final destination will be the pretty village of Saundersfoot before returning to our hotel mid-afternoon.

Day 3 A free morning for you to spend in Tenby. This afternoon we make a visit to the lovely town of Narberth before taking a journey across the bluestone Preseli Mountains and along the Teifi Valley to picturesque Cenarth. A charming conservation village with spectacular waterfalls, here we will visit the Coracle Museum set in the grounds of a 17th century flour mill.

Day 4 A full day tour west today around the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to the historic town of Pembroke. The town’s centrepiece is its magnificent Norman Castle which is one of the finest and best preserved strongholds in the country. This afternoon we continue to the tiny city of St. David’s, dominated by its impressive cathedral.

Day 5 We say farewell to Wales and make our way home making suitable comfort stops along the way arriving back in the local area late afternoon.
