ITINERARY

Day 1 Departing the local area we travel across country to Cheltenham where we stop for free time to window shop and have lunch. We continue to our hotel just over the Welsh border arriving in time for dinner.

Day 2 Today we have a full day in Tatton Park. Enjoy the spectacular show gardens, smaller back to back gardens, fruit and vegetable competitions and floral displays from more than 80 of the UK’s best nurseries. Looking to the future, Tatton is showcasing the Young Garden Designer of the Year Competition and ‘Visionary Gardens’. Gain insight into gardening methods and new ideas for your own garden, in the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the show.

Day 3 Today we travel via the dramatic Horseshoe Pass to Llangollen. We will have some free time here and a two-hour cruise along the Llangollen Canal crossing the Pontcysyllte Aquaduct, built by Thomas Telford in 1805. Whilst on board we have included a cream tea.

Day 4 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we make our way home with suitable stops for refreshments along the way. Arriving back in the local area, we are met by our taxis and transferred home.
