Peninsula HotelStars (AA/RAC)

The Peninsula hotel is a firm favourite with Woods clients and we have been very fortunate to secure a reservation with no supplement on sole use rooms. The hotel is located on the north west coast in its own grounds on a grassy peninsula leading to a sandy bay. There is a spacious lounge, bar, pitch & putt course and an outdoor pool with terrace. Bedrooms have a TV, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift and many ground floor rooms. A regular bus service, only a short walk from the hotel, connects you to St Peter Port, other Parishes and pretty beaches.

This evening there will be a welcome drink in the bar before dinner giving you the chance to meet your fellow guests.

Day 2 After breakfast, a morning excursion of the north and east of the island. You will have the option of returning to the hotel at lunchtime or to be dropped in St Peter Port, returning independently by bus or a taxi.

Day 3 A free day.

Day 4 This morning after breakfast you will complete your tour of the Island by coach on a half day excursion. The coach will return you to the hotel at lunchtime or if you prefer you can end the tour in St Peter Port and enjoy the bustling harbour or the shops.

Day 6 This morning we take a catamaran to the small Island of Herm. There will be time to walk to Shell beach or relax in the village of Herm Harbour where there are restaurants and a Tavern. Depending on tides, there may be some steps to negotiate. We return on a mid afternoon boat and transfer to our hotel.

Day 7 A free day. Your tour escort may be able to arrange an optional visit to the Island of Sark. After the boat trip why not try a horse drawn carriage ride to see more of the Island?
