ITINERARY

Day 1 Door to door service to Gatwick airport for a flight to Malaga. You will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel in La Linea.

Day 2 A morning guided walking tour of La Linea giving you the opportunity to absorb the truly Spanish character. There are many pavement cafes for a Tapas lunch.

Day 3 An excursion to Gibraltar with a guided tour of The Rock. We meet the semi domesticated apes of Gibraltar, visit St Michael’s cave, Casemates Square and walk along Main Street.

Day 4 This morning we drive to El Puerto de Santa Maria for a sherry tour and tasting. We continue to Cadiz and take a guided walk before the drive back, via Cape Trafalgar.

Day 5 Transfer to the port of Algeciras and cross the Straits of Gibraltar to Ceuta. We continue by coach to the Berber City of Tetouan. After an included lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant, we walk through the markets. We continue into the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen, to our hotel and dinner.

Day 6 The day starts with a walk in a small Berber village. Later we drive to the ancient Pirate town of Asilah on the Atlantic coast and have lunch before continuing to Tangiers. We have dinner and a night in a 4-star hotel. An optional Moroccan folklore show can be arranged.

Day 7 Tangiers is an exciting city, we take a coach tour and a stroll through the Kasbah, the old medieval town with its ancient walls, labyrinth streets, and bustling noisy atmosphere. After lunch, we take the ferry to Spain and then onto a 4-star hotel near Malaga.

Day 8 A transfer to Malaga airport for the flight to Gatwick airport, you will be met by the Woods coach and returned to your home by a taxi.
