A magnificent Regency building, enjoying an unrivalled position on Sidmouth’s elegant Esplanade, this family run hotel is ideally located directly overlooking the sea and adjacent to the picturesque town centre. The Royal York and Faulkner has a reputation for offering hospitality, service and comfort, as well as excellent food. All rooms offer TV , telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. ITINERARY
Day 1 After a morning taxi pick up, we make our way into Dorset, stopping in Bournemouth for lunch. On into Devon, we arrive at our hotel in the afternoon.
Day 2 A full day along the Devonshire coast, calling at the quaint village of Dawlish, and onto the resort of Teignmouth. We then visit the fascinating Babbacombe Model Village with thousands of miniature buildings, people and vehicles, before returning to Sidmouth.
Day 3 A day at leisure to enjoy this beautiful regency town.
Day 4 Today we take you on a sightseeing tour through Exmoor National Park, enjoying the wild scenery through to Dunster, and stopping in Lynton & Lynmouth, two of the most picturesque villages on the Coast, for lunch.
Day 5 We visit Exeter today and enjoy a cruise on the river Exe.
Day 6 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we travel to Forde Abbey where we can tour the extensive gardens featuring superb herbaceous borders, kitchen garden, rockery and lakes. We reach the local area late afternoon
