This beautiful, unspoilt regency town overlooking the waters of Lyme Bay has managed to preserve much of its old world charm. This tour gives you time to enjoy the regency town as well as sightseeing along the coast, a tram ride at Seaton and a day on Dartmoor
ITINERARY
Day 1 After a morning taxi pick up, we make our way into Dorset, stopping in Bournemouth for lunch. On into Devon, we arrive at our hotel in the afternoon.
Day 2 This morning we travel to Seaton to board the famous Seaton Tramway for a return journey to Colyton, travelling by narrow gauge tram through the glorious Axe Valley through two nature reserves. This afternoon is free, or join your driver on a trip to the Donkey Sanctuary.
Day 3 A day at leisure to enjoy this beautiful regency town.
Day 4 Today we take you on a sightseeing tour through Dartmoor National Park, enjoying the wild scenery and visiting Buckfast Abbey and Princetown.
Day 5 Today we visit Exeter and take a cruise on the River Exe
Day 6 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we travel to Forde Abbey where we can tour the extensive gardens featuring superb herbaceous borders, kitchen garden, rockery and lakes. We reach the local area late afternoon.
