ITINERARY
Day 1 After collection from your home by taxi, our coach takes you to Gatwick for your flight to Rome. On arrival you will be met by a local representative and taken to your hotel for dinner and a three-night stay.
Day 2 & 3 During your time in Rome you will have a half day tour of this magnificent city including The Vatican, St Peter’s Square, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The rest of the time is free and your escort will suggest places you might like to go for dinner.
Day 4 Leaving Rome there is a guide to accompany you on your transfer through beautiful countryside to Sorrento. A stop is made at Montecassino, an important site during the Italian Campaign of WWII and the home to the imposing hilltop abbey.
Day 5, 6 & 7 While in Sorrento we have included a full day excursion along the stunning Amalfi Coast, a full day excursion exploring Pompei and Vesuvius and a free day to enjoy this wonderful town.
Day 8 After breakfast you will have a transfer to Rome for your flight to Gatwick. You will be met by a Woods coach on arrival and returned to your home.
