Our regular customers will know the excellent Brend Group of hotels. This year we are visiting the Royal and Fortescue in Barnstaple in June, and the Royal in Bideford in September. Both tours visit Rosemoor, enjoy a canal cruise and cream tea and have wonderful drives through the pretty North Devon countryside.

ITINERARY

Day 1 After your taxi pick up, we make our way to North Devon, making suitable refreshment stops along the way. We arrive at our hotel late afternoon.

Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast we drive through the Exe Valley to Tiverton before this afternoon’s delightful horse drawn cruise along the Grand Western Canal to East Manley. On the return trip we have included a cream tea on board.

Day 3 This morning we visit Arlington Court, a regency house set in an extensive estate, and home to a large collection of horse-drawn vehicles. The afternoon is free to enjoy the town.

Day 4 Today we visit the picturesque resort of Lynmouth, before making our way through scenic ‘Little Switzerland’, as the region is known, to the lovely village of Dunster, with its famous castle and octagonal Yarn Market. Our return journey takes us through Exford and the Exmoor National Park.

Day 5 This morning we visit the ancient seaport of Barnstaple, set on the banks of the River Torridge, before travelling to the gorgeous RHS Garden at Rosemoor.

Day 6 We depart after breakfast and travel to the Clarks Village complex in Street, with over 90 different stores. We arrive in the local area late afternoon.
