NEW TOUR

This new summer tour visits Norfolk at its best as July is the time when the countryside bursts into colour as the lavender blooms. Travel through the fragrant fields, sample the Lavender Cream Tea at Norfolk Lavender, enjoy King’s Lynn and visit the Queen’s favourite estate at Sandringham.

ITINERARY

Day 1 After enjoying our door to door service, we join the coach to drive north to the pretty town of Saffron Walden where we stop for refreshments. We continue to our hotel near King’s Lynn arriving late afternoon.

Day 2 Today we visit Norfolk Lavender, which has not only the colourful and fragrant fields and gardens, but an excellent café, gift shop and we have included a guided tour and the local speciality – a Lavender Cream Tea. We leave early afternoon and have a scenic drive back to the hotel.

Day 3 This morning your driver will take you the short distance into King’s Lynn for free time to enjoy the town. The afternoon is free to enjoy the facilities at your hotel.

Day 4 A day out to Sandringham, the much-loved country retreat of The Queen, and private home to four generations of British monarchs since 1862. The house is set in 24 acres of stunning gardens in the heart of the 8000-hectare estate. We have included entrance to the house, gardens and the museum which houses Royal artefacts and everything from tiny Indian dolls to a 1939 Merryweather fire engine.

Day 5 Leaving after breakfast, we travel homewards with suitable refreshment stops along the way. We reach our taxis late afternoon.
