Join us on a wonderful scenic tour through the dramatic countryside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the best that the Lake District has to offer.
ITINERARY
Day 1 After your taxi pick up, we travel via Newbury and the Vale of Evesham making suitable refreshment stops along the way and arriving at our hotel near Tebay late afternoon. Before dinner there will be a welcome drink and a chance to meet your fellow guests.
Day 2 Today’s tour will take in some of the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales. We drive through Birkdale, Swaledale and on to the picturesque town of Richmond. We return through Wensleydale, Garsdale and Kendal.
Day 3 A day tour of the Northern Lakes, travelling via Shap Fell to Penrith, then along Lake Ullswater and over the Kirkstone Pass to Lake Windermere, then by way of Grassmere and Thirlmere to Keswick on Derwent Water.
Day 4 Another day of beautiful scenery travelling via Kendal to the Southern Lakes. We reach Bowness on Windermere and continue on to Broughton in Furness known as ‘the hidden gem of the Lake District’. We continue our journey to Coniston Water with stunning views of Furness Fells and return to our hotel via Ambleside.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast, we make our way homewards with suitable refreshment stops along the way, arriving in the local area early evening to meet our taxis and continue home.
