ITINERARY
Day 1 After collection from your home by taxi, our coach travels across country to Tewkesbury, renowned as having one of the best medieval black and white townscapes in the country. From here we travel the short distance to our hotel in Great Malvern.
Day 2 Today we journey into the Wye Valley and the Welsh Borders. We travel via Hereford to the wonderful little town of Hay-on-Wye. Here we have some free time to browse the many bookshops that line the streets before we cross into Wales for a scenic drive. Our journey back to Malvern is via Leominster.
Day 3 This morning is free to relax and explore Great Malvern. In the afternoon we go to Worcester to cruise along the River Severn and enjoy an afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes.
Day 4 Our trip into the Malvern Hills begins in Ledbury, with free time to explore this beautiful market town, with its many black and white timber-framed buildings, medieval cobbled streets and fine parish church. We then visit Weston’s Cider for a tour and tasting, before visiting Brockhampton Estate. Here we find a romantic medieval moated manor house, crooked gatehouse, ruined Norman chapel all set within ancient woodland.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast we travel through the Cotswolds with a stop on Moreton-in-Marsh. In the afternoon, we make our way back to the local area with suitable refreshment stops along the way.
