ITINERARY

Day 1 Your tour starts with the Woods door to door service to join the coach travelling to Gatwick Airport. On arrival in Malta, you will be met by a local representative and transferred to your hotel in St Julian’s Bay.

Day 2 Our excursion today starts in Upper Barakka Gardens where you can enjoy magnificent views of Valletta’s Grand Harbour. We then see St John’s Co-Cathedral and the Grand Master’s Palace which houses many beautiful frescos. We will also view a presentation at the Casa Rocca Piccola.

Day 3 Today we have the chance to browse in the local market followed by a visit to St Phillip’s Parish Church and the attractive Buskett Gardens. The rest of the day is spent touring the island’s valleys and a drive along the unspoilt rugged northern coast.

Day 4 We will visit the Gardjola Gardens in Senglea which will give us nice views across to Valetta. We travel on to Vittriosa to the Maritime museum and then a drive round Valletta’s city walls.

Day 5 Today is a full day taking in temples and fishing villages of the South coast and a visit to Palazzo Parisio which boasts one of the finest gardens in Malta. Subject to weather and sea conditions an optional boat trip may be possible to the famous Blue Grotto and iridescent waters of the cave.

Day 6 A free day. You may like to go to Gozo, the small neighbouring island or in to Sliema, the island’s premier shopping resort. Tonight’s dinner is a traditional meal in the village of Mosta.

Day 7 Today we visit the ancient walled city of Mdina, and see the magnificent Cathedral and museum. The Palazzo Falson offers glimpses into the lives of the noblemen. We continue to Rabat, famous for mosaics and then admire the flora in the San Anton Gardens.

Day 8 You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Gatwick and met by the Woods coach and then a taxi to your home.
