ITINERARY

Day 1 Leaving the local area early in the morning, we travel north to Lancashire making suitable refreshment stops along the way, and arriving in time for dinner.

Day 2 This morning we travel into Liverpool for a two-hour guided tour of this fascinating city. In the afternoon you can either have free time in the city, or join your driver on a visit to the beautiful Ness Botanic Gardens, south of the city.

Day 3 We return to Liverpool, this time to Albert Dock where we have included entrance to the Beatles Story and a 50-minute journey on the iconic Mersey Ferry with commentary. There will be free time to explore and get some lunch, and maybe visit the excellent Maritime Museum.

We have included a visit to the museum and a guided tour of the village. You will also have time visit the shop, get refreshments or visit the excellent Lady Lever Art Gallery. We return to our hotel mid afternoon.

Day 5 Departing after breakfast, we head south and arrive in the local area late afternoon. We will make stops for refreshments along the way.
