The Golf Hotel
Our hotel is set in the heart of Lincolnshire in the historic village of Woodhall Spa, with its quaint shops and tree-lined avenues, and only 20 miles from Lincoln itself. The house was built in 1880 in seven acres of well kept gardens, lawns and woodlands. The bedrooms all offer TV, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Following a taxi pick up from your home, we travel to Stamford in time to get some lunch. We continue to our hotel in Woodhall Spa, arriving in time for dinner.
Day 2 We have a drive through the countryside taking in Somersby, birthplace of Alfred Lord Tennyson and the charming market town of Louth. During the morning we will stop for tea and scones. We return to the hotel mid afternoon for you to enjoy Woodhall Spa.
Day 3 Today we travel to the ancient city of Lincoln to spend the day exploring the amazing Christmas Market. Around 300 stalls are nestled in and around the medieval square, between the impressive Norman castle and the magnificent gothic cathedral. Carol singers, brass bands and Father Christmas himself create a wonderful festive atmosphere, while a huge variety of food and drink is on offer.
Day 4 We depart after breakfast and make our way south with suitable refreshment stops along the way. We reach our taxis late afternoon before continuing our journey home.
