The Rutland Hotel is situated on the Queens Promenade with views over DOUGLAS BAY. The hotel was re-opened in June 2004 after a 4 million pound refurbishment. The bedrooms are en-suite and beautifully furnished, and include telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer. There are 64 bedrooms and a lift serving all floors however there are 9 unavoidable steps with hand rail leading up from the DOUGLAS BAY’S famous promenade into the hotel. (Please note that the Isle of Man does not have the same disability discrimination laws as the mainland.)

On a free day we suggest you tour the island using the Steam Railway.

Imagine a place which is well away from it all yet so close to home, where the clock does not stress you out and you can enjoy the freedom to come and go as you please, where you are guaranteed a warm welcome, friendly service and the very best of hospitality. The Isle of Man is a delight, just 33 miles long and 13 miles wide in the middle of the Irish Sea with beautiful scenery and stunning seascapes. The Island has its own unique history, the life is simple and undemanding, the pace easy and relaxed.
