We are pleased to return to the Stourport Manor Hotel and this remarkable part of the country – the birthplace of the industrial revolution. We visit the best of the museums Ironbridge has to offer, and tour the countryside of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
ITINERARY
Day 1 After a taxi pick up from your home, we make our way via Evesham Country Park to Stourport-Upon-Severn and our hotel.
Day 2 We travel to Ironbridge and begin with the Museum of the Gorge before viewing the famous bridge and the toll house. We then visit Blists Hill, a working Victorian town where two cafés are open for lunch, and then visit Jackfield Tile Museum and return to our hotel.
Day 3 A scenic drive today with a visit to Ludlow, a 900-yearold Norman town perched above the picturesque River Teme. We then travel via Ledbury to Worcester where we have free time to explore.
Day 4 A special visit to the RAF Museum at Cosford, where you can view the war planes, transport aircraft and an excellent exhibition devoted to the Cold War. We return to the hotel via the pretty town of Bridgnorth.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast we make our way home via Banbury, reaching the local area late afternoon.
