The Malvern Hills, Britains oldest hills, nestle between Wales and Warwickshire with beautiful countryside all around. Experience the breathtaking scenery which provided the inspiration for Sir Edward Elgar’s classical music.

ITINERARY

Day 1 After the taxi pick ups our coach will travel via SWINDON and CHEPSTOW to GREAT MALVERN and our hotel.

Day 2 Today, we drive to WARWICK CASTLE for a guided tour, after which the Coach House Restaurant is available for lunch. In the afternoon we go on to William Shakespeare’s birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, where staff will be dressed in replica Tudor clothing.

Day 3 We travel to BEWDLEY to the ARLEY ARBORETUM, which has one of the finest tree collections in the UK, not to mention the spectacular plants and flowers. After our visit we return to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4 Today we take a trip on the RIVER AVON from STRATFORD-UPON-AVON for an hour and a half cruise. On returning we then visit the Butterfly Farm where we see some of the world’s most spectacular butterflies. After our visit we go to a local hostelry for a light lunch, after which we will return to the hotel.

Day 5 This morning will be spent at leisure and after lunch we visit the ASTLEY VINEYARDS at STOURPORT-ON-SEVERN. We’ll have the opportunity to sample some of the award winning wines by celebrated winemaker, Martin Fowke.

Day 6 Leaving MALVERN our journey takes us to BATH for lunch and then on to the Sussex coast.
