The Winnock Hotel
The hotel is situated on a pretty village green in the corner of Drymen, which is on the east side of Loch Lomond. All rooms have en suite facilities, TV, direct dial phone and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift.

From the dazzling esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, Scotland’s 2009 Military Tattoo presents a colourful kaleidoscope of music, dance and display.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Taxis from your home take you to the coach and we travel north via BRACKLEY and LEEDS to our overnight hotel in BINGLEY.
Day 2 Travelling via SKIPTON and WHARFEDALE we make our way north and entering Scotland at GRETNA GREEN and on through the Borders to our hotel at DRYMEN.
Day 3 Morning at leisure to explore the village, then we will have lunch at the hotel before driving to EDINBURGH. There will be free time in the afternoon before we have high tea followed by the Tattoo. Immediately the Tattoo fi nishes we will return to our hotel where a welcome bowl of hot soup will be available.
Day 4 Not too early a start today. We drive into EDINBURGH for a guided tour of the city followed by free time to explore the wonderful array of shops or the historic old town. This will be followed by a visit to THE PALACE OF HOLYROODHOUSE.
Day 5 An early start is required to make our way south through the Borders and the motorways to the south coast via NEWBURY.
