NEW TOUR Please note: Items brought with you must be small enough to fit in a handbag and Woods cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to items. Please check your travel/house insurance for cover.

This new Easter break includes visits to Blenheim Palace, Kenilworth Castle, Tewkesbury, Warwick and some of the most beautiful scenery of the Cotswolds. For this new tour we encourage you to bring along a small trinket to be examined and discussed by our knowledgeable Antiques Host, who will be with us on Friday and also Sunday evening.

ITINERARY

Day 1 After our usual door to door service, our coach makes its way across country to Tewkesbury with time in the town before we reach our hotel. After dinner we meet our Antiques Host, who will examine the small items you have brought with you to find their origin and value. Gain valuable insight into antique hunting – information you will be able to put to good use when we visit the fair on Sunday.

Day 2 After breakfast we travel to Kenilworth Castle, a vast medieval fortress and one of the most spectacular ruined castles in England. We then travel to Warwick where you could visit the castle, one of the attractive parks, or just enjoy the shops.

Day 3 After breakfast we take a leisurely drive into the Cotswolds, visiting many of the pretty honey-stoned villages which make this area one of the best-loved regions of the country.

Day 4 Today we visit the Malvern Flea & Collectors Fair. Stroll among the many stalls and see if you can pick up a bargain. There will be free time to explore this pretty town before returning to our hotel mid afternoon. After dinner, we are again joined by our Antiques Host who will examine your purchases and determine who has found the best bargain.

Day 5 Departing our hotel after breakfast, we visit the glorious Blenheim Palace, once the home of Sir Winston Churchill. Leaving early afternoon, we make our way back to our ever faithful taxis and home.
