ITINERARY

Day 1 We depart the local area for a leisurely drive along the south coast. Stopping at BEACHY HEAD for lunch, we arrive at our hotel in EASTBOURNE early afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure to do as you wish before dinner.

Day 2 Today we will take you on a full day out to PENSHURST PLACE, one of England’s finest historic houses set in the Weald of Kent’s peaceful rural landscape.

Day 3 Today we take a trip on the BLUEBELL RAILWAY, the UK’s first standard gauge passenger railway. We will be taking a nostalgic trip back in time with the preservation of a country branch line and its steam locomotives, coaches and goods stock, seeing the signalling systems, stations and operating practices.

Day 4 After breakfast we visit MICHELHAM PRIORY to explore beautiful gardens, visit the exhibitions and discover garden sculptures. After we leave Michelham we return to our hotel making a lunch stop en route.

Day 5 After breakfast we bid farewell to our hotel and make our way home. Stopping for lunch along the way and arriving at our local area late afternoon.
