On this tour we combine the wonders of the Dutch Bulbfields and Keukenhof in spring, the vibrant city of Amsterdam, and the villages of Volendam and Zaanxe Schans, all while taking pleasure in the wonderful food, comfort and hospitality of CroisiEurope.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Collected from your door you join the coach and we travel to Dover for the short Channel crossing. On arrival we make our way to Amsterdam with suitable refreshment stops along the way. We join the MS Botticelli at around 6pm. There will be a cocktail party with the crew before dinner, after which, a chance to visit the vibrant city by night.

Day 2 Breakfast on board before a tour of Amsterdam calling at a diamond merchant’s workshop. After lunch on board we depart by coach to Volendam, a traditional Dutch village and then onto Zaanse Schans, an open-air museum to admire over 100 typical wooden houses, windmills and warehouses dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Return on board for dinner before enjoying a free evening, or be taken back to the centre for another night on the town.

Day 3 After breakfast, we cruise toward Utrecht arriving by midday and lunch on board. We then travel by coach to the magnificent Keukenhof Gardens, with time to enjoy the amazing tulip displays. In the meantime the ship cruises to Rotterdam where we rejoin it late afternoon. Dinner is on board followed by a Gala Evening.

Day 4 We cruise in the early morning toward Antwerp, passing the town of Dordrecht where the ship enters the Holland Diep (inland sea) passing the locks in Volkerak and Kreekak before crossing the Dultch-Belgian border then on to Antwerp, the second largest harbour in the world. Dinner is on board with the rest of the evening free to enjoy Antwerp.

Day 5 Breakfast on board before disembarking in Antwerp at 9am. We make our way to Calais where there will be time for shopping before we take the late afternoon sailing to Dover when we travel by coach and taxi to our homes.
