Due to many requests from our frequent travellers and following rave reviews from guests in 2010, we return to the three-star Glendower Hotel in Lytham St Annes for our tour of the famous illuminations which every year transform a five-mile stretch of the promenade into a breathtaking blaze of colourful lights in spectacular designs. We have extended our stay to five days so that you can enjoy a full day in Blackpool, the southern Lake District, and also delve into Pendle Witch Country.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Leaving the local area early in the morning, we travel north to Blackpool making suitable refreshment stops along the way, and arriving in time for dinner.

Day 2 We travel today to Ostwaldtwistle Mills Shopping Village for some free time before driving into the heart of Pendle Witch Country for a guided tour of the area

Day 3 Take the day to explore Blackpool where we have included a day ticket for Blackpool Tower. After dinner this evening we take a leisurely guided coach tour through the amazing illuminations for which the town is so rightly famous.

Day 4 A day trip up to the southern region of the Lake District, visiting Kendel and Bowness on Windermere. After some free time for photos and refreshments, we travel south along the lake to Newby Bridge before returning to our hotel.

Day 5 Departing after breakfast, we head south and arrive in the local area late afternoon. We will make stops for refreshments along the way.
