ITINERARY

Day 1 Morning collection from home to join the coach for the drive to Dover and the short ferry crossing to Calais. We continue to the Belgian Ardennes for our overnight stay.

Day 2 We depart Arlon after breakfast and travel to the Black Forest, arriving at our hotel late afternoon. We have time to relax before evening meal is served.

Day 3 This morning we visit a nearby typical Black Forest Cheese farmhouse with opportunity to sample the homemade products. This afternoon we enjoy an included carriage ride before returning to our hotel late afternoon.

Day 4 Christmas Eve; This morning we head to the beautiful Christmas Market in Colmar. Regarded as one of the most unusual French markets with its special character, it takes place at 5 venues in the Old Town. We have free time to soak up the Christmas atmosphere before returning to our hotel midafternoon. If you wish, join an early evening torch walk to the historic chapel of St Oswald with mulled wine being served after the mass, before returning for a 4-course dinner.

Day 5 Christmas Day; A free day to relax, open your presents and explore the local area before this evening’s festive 4-course Christmas Turkey dinner.

Day 6 Boxing Day; A full day excursion through the Black Forest including a visit to the beautiful cathedral city of Freiburg.

Day 7 We bid farewell to our hosts and commence our homeward journey. We travel to Strasbourg where we have some free time before continuing our journey to our overnight hotel on the outskirts of Arlon.

Day 8 We head to Calais to join an afternoon short sea crossing to Dover with a mid-evening return to the local area where our Door to Door service will be waiting to return you to your home.
