Best Western Walton Park Hotel
The Best Western Walton Park Hotel enjoys a spectacular position, surrounded by cliffside gardens with panoramic views across the Severn Estuary and Welsh Hills. The 40 spacious bedrooms, many with sea views, are all en suite, and have TV, telephone, ironing facilities and hospitality tray The hotel has a lift.
ITINERARY
Day 1 After local pick ups we travel via the New Forest to our hotel in Clevedon having made a stop en route at the Ringwood Town and Country Experience for coffee. We stop in Wells for lunch and sightseeing and then onwards to our hotel.
Day 2 This morning we take a short drive to the Roman Baths in Bath, where time will be spent exploring one of the finest thermal baths in the western world. After our visit, we have the rest of the afternoon to explore Bath before returning to our hotel.
Day 3 We drive to Wapping Wharf, Bristol for a cruise along the River Avon with views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge. We stop en route for a light lunch after which we continue our cruise. On our return we transfer to the centre of town for some free time.
Day 4 We travel down through Somerset to the spectacular Cheddar Gorge. Here we have included a visit to Gough’s Cave or the Cheddar Man Museum of Prehistory, followed by a strawberry cream tea. After free time for lunch we move on to the historic city of Wells, with its lovely cathedral, before returning to our hotel.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast, we make our way to Weston-super-Mare, where the wide sweep of Weston Bay has miles of clean sandy beach. After some free time we continue our journey back to the local area where our door-to-door service is waiting to take you home.
