ITINERARY

Day 1 After the usual taxi pick ups this morning we make our way north for our overnight stop. Making refreshment stops along the way we arrive at our hotel in time for this evening’s dinner.

Day 2 We continue today heading into Scotland, stopping along the way in GRETNA GREEN. Arriving at our hotel this afternoon. There will be a sherry and whisky drinks reception followed by a delicious 3 course Scottish dinner with refillable wine. Traditional live entertainment follows and the bar will be free from 7.00pm until 10.00pm every evening for your enjoyment.

Day 3 Today we head out to explore the Scottish countryside. The hotel will provide us with a packed lunch as we travel along the shores of Loch Ness keeping a lookout for a glimpse of the famous Loch Ness Monster, before we turn towards the West coast and travel through the HIGHLANDS. Arriving back at the hotel in time for afternoon tea. After tonight’s evening meal again with wine and free bar there will be live entertainment. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass the hotel will welcome you back with a warming bowl of soup.

Day 4 HAPPY CHRISTMAS. Enjoy a hearty breakfast this morning with a glass of bucks fizz. Lunch will be served with mulled wine and the Queens Speech can be enjoyed in the lounge. There will be live entertainment this evening.

Day 5 A full Scottish breakfast before we take a morning excursion through FORRES, ELGIN and GRANTOWN ON SPEY. We arrive back at the hotel in time for lunch (included). Afternoon tea will be served in the lounge. Dinner this evening will again be followed by live entertainment.

Day 6 We say a fond farewell to Inverness after breakfast and make our way back via the Scottish Borders to our overnight hotel in the Yorkshire area.

Day 7 Returning to the South coast today making suitable stops along the way for refreshments (not included) before arriving into the local area early evening.
