Stopping at Denbies Wine Estate for coffee we arrive in London at 1200hrs for 2 course Sunday lunch at 1230hrs at the Strand Palace Hotel, then on to the matinee performance at 1500hrs of the The Lion King. This musical is an award winning Broadway musical with a breathtaking spectacle of animals miraculously brought to life by over 40 actors. Listen to the sound of African drumming marimbas and balophones as the saffron sun rises out of a grey daybreak. The famous song by Tim Rice and Elton John “Can you feel the love tonight” is just one of the many from this outstanding show.
