Oxford Castle Flower & Gardening Festival is a free festival filled to the brim with markets, talks, demonstrations, workshops in addition to some more unusual florally inspired surprises such as edible flower infused chocolates, organic cosmetics, florally inspired jewellery and art. Alongside the large range of stalls trading goods from gardening tools, plants, flowers, and fruit trees, other free family-friendly activities include flower-pot painting, seedling planting, printmaking, wicker-weaving, and Oxfam’s role-play picnic, as well as face-painting, live music, stilt-walkers, a magician, and rare breed petting animals… all with a green-fingered twist, of course!
