Highclere Castle is the home of the 8th Earl & Countess of Carnarvon, the ultimate in high Victorian exuberance. The Castle dominates magnificent grounds influenced by Capability Brown.

It also has a restaurant and tea-rooms.

Afterwards we drive to Kintbury for our 2-hour return canal cruise horse drawn by Hannah and Boncella. See these beautiful horses all decked out in their traditional harness and decoration. Relax and listen to the sound of lapping water against the hull, the history of the canal and the men that worked it, whilst taking in the lovely countryside cream tea will be served.
