After stopping at Guildford Cathedral for coffee, we reach London and the Tower around lunchtime. You will have ample time to explore this awesome fortress and take in all that it has to offer. Started under William the Conqueror in 1078 and expanded over the centuries, the Tower of London has been a royal castle, a prison, a mint, an observatory and even a zoo. View the Crown Jewels and displays of armouries, see the six resident ravens, or join a tour with one of the Beefeaters. You can be sure there is plenty to see, both inside and out, whatever the weather.
Afterwards a cruise along the Thames to Greenwich where your coach will be waiting for your homeward return journey.
