After a coffee stop at Hillier Garden Centre, we reach Cirencester around 12.00hrs. Founded by the Romans, Cirencester became the second largest Roman town after London. With many fine old buildings, its pride and joy is the parish church of St Johns the Baptist, the largest in Gloucestershire. You will have a couple of hours free time for your own exploring. We leave at 14.30hrs and transfer to Lechlade to board our river cruise at 15.00hrs. During your two-hour cruise you will be served cream tea whilst taking in the beautiful scenery of the Costwolds. Disembarkation is scheduled around 17.00.

Around 17.15 we start our journey home aiming to arrive back between 19.30 and 20.10.
