Our Country Drive takes us through the pretty West Sussex towns of Petworth, Cowfold and Bolney to The South Downs Heritage Centre near Hassocks where we will discover the vanished rural crafts of Sussex.
Exhibits such as the blacksmith and wheelwright, vintage ploughs and other rural antiquities give an insight into days gone by. The heritage garden displays herbs, vegetables and flowers grown by rural households from Roman to Victorian times.
