Close to the port is the Medieval city of Bruges, which in December will be awash with Christmas lights, decorations and market stalls. The following afternoon we arrive in Hamburg, with an overnight stay there is plenty of time to enjoy the festive season and the perfect spot for some Christmas shopping before setting sail back to Southampton
